Welcome back to my blog and the first Q&A with AQ 👑 (Adulting Queen).
Basically, I just call up my friends and tell them to ask me 5 random questions, then voila you get a blog post and fun facts about me!
Alieshia and I met on Instagram. We quickly realized we had a lot in common with our higher ed backgrounds and just trying to figure this whole adulting thing out. We have yet to meet in person, but she's definitely an AQ supporter!
Let’s see what random things Alieshia asked....
What's the worst thing about adulting?
AQ- Paying bills and figuring things out that no one is ever really taught. For instance- buying a home, apartment searching, taxes, health insurance, loans, etc. Adulting has a ton of unsaid expectations that you don't realize until you get here.
Alieshia- Paying bills.
What's your favorite pastime activity?
AQ- Currently watching cartoons, listening to music, being creative, planning events and spending time with family. If we weren't in a pandemic we could add lit brunches and traveling.
Alieshia- Well since I can't travel, I take pictures of murals.
When did you start your brand?
AQ- January 2019 I made the Instagram and in April 2019 I created the website.
Alieshia- AlieshiasAdventures started in 2017. AlieshiasAdventures is a millennial lifestyle brand that focuses on sharing my adventures of life through blogs, podcast and YouTube. We travel, laugh and love to have a good time on the adventure of life. Struggles and all. 😩
Where was your favorite place you traveled to?
AQ- I loved Toronto when I went for Caribana, Las Vegas and Houston.
Alieshia- Jamaica. I loved the weather and the people. I call myself the island girl and I’m not even from there. Lol
What does adulting mean to you?
AQ- Adulting is navigating life in the best way that works for you while figuring out all these unsaid expectations and responsibilities that are put on you.
Alieshia-- Adulting is trying to balance everything while still learning everything.😭
